Tales from the Borderlands Trailer
The ECHOnet collectively lost their minds after the new Telltale Games trailer dropped, and by lost their minds I mean that wall sphincters all around Pandora opened up and spewed forth Slag. Reactions have been mixed among the users with local celebrity bandit Face McShooty quoted as saying "SHOOT ME IN THE FACE!". We have tried to contact Mr McShooty in an attempt to clarify his statement, but we were unable to get a response.
So back to reality (or at least as close to it as you can get when it comes to anything Borderlands), Telltale Games did release a new trailer for their upcoming episodic game based in the Borderlands universe. The trailer starts with Handsome Jack's mask (which for some reason is not only able to talk, but is as much of a jack-ass... pun intended, as the original Handsome Jack) clearing up some apparent confusion by explaining that the game takes place after the events of Borderlands 2. So to make things even more confusing, I would advise those wanting to play this game to be up to at least Borderlands: The Pre-Sequal which takes place between 1 and 2, but should be played after 2, to ensure that certain events are not spoiled.
If past Telltale Games are anything to go by, this will be a fun ride through some much loved scenery (I said loved scenery, not picturesque like Elpis. We all know that Pandora is as beautiful as a Bonerfart rear end after a few helpings of Trector Hodunk's infamous Skag Vindaloo). The story revolves around Rhys, a Hyperion employee who is slowly moving up the corporate ladder, and Fiona a con artist.
No release date has been announced, but considering the new trailer and the last quarter 2014 speculative time frame they gave in the past, I would say it would have to be fairly soon. The first episode is apparently titled "Zer0 Sum", which would explain; The reason why, Zer0 was there, At end of trailer... Sorry, I suck at Haiku.
