A new group of games has been added to the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility list and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion has finally been added to list of games.

It was first rumoured several weeks ago by apparent leaks that stated Oblivion has been released into the Backward Compatibility program; this news wasn't correct however but it looks like the rumours were partially correct here as the popular RPG has finally been added to the list of Xbox One compatible games.

Oblivion isn't the only game that's been added to the list today however, Microsoft has announced that three other games will be joining Oblivion in the Backgrounds Compatibility scheme. Medal of Honor: Airborne, Trion 2 and AstroPop have also been added to the list.

All of these games should be available in your Xbox One library if you own them digitally on Xbox 360 otherwise, they also work with the physical disc and can be purchased digitally through the Xbox Store.
