Japanese Game Hunt: Day 2

Today was meant to be all about doing tourist things, so I wasn't really expecting to make this post for a few more days. After a day out looking at Asakusa and the Tokyo Sky Tree (which had a Macross exhibit to my delight... only way you can get me to go up 450m in a tower and keep me there for more than a few seconds), I ducked into TRADER3 and Mandrake since they were close to where I was staying. I managed to walk out of there with a few more from my list.

TRADER3 (Akihabara)

  • メモリーズオフ6 T-Wave (Memories Off 6: T-Wave) ¥926
  • メモリーズオフ6 Next Relation (Memories Off 6: T-Wave Second Chapter) ¥926

Mandrake (Akihabara)

  • Phantom - Phantom of Inferno ¥2,800
  • Piaキャロットへようこそ!!4 (Pia Carrot e Youkoso!! 4) ¥1,500

After getting back I freaked myself out as the Memories Off 6 games had the same code on the side even though the covers were different. Then I saw it was a "T-Wave" game which freaked me out more... had I grabbed a special edition as well. Luckily, I saw that it had the letters NR after the 6 in the logo, so this was definitely Next Relation.

At this point I'm pretty much ignoring what ever I have heard about places and put it to peoples bad experiences due to lack of stock, or basically unable to help themselves when it comes to buying things. I'd read nothing but bad reviews about Mandrake, so I was expecting to get nothing from there. There was a lot, and the place was organised well. There was about 150 X360 games in there, so a decent amount compared to other stores. If I have room I might jump in there on my way home and grab some of the AAA stackables that I've been holding off on as I just don't want to replay some of them so soon.
