Gwent Closed Beta has begun for Xbox One

CD Projekt Red has just announced that their Gwent spin-off game has just entered the first phase of public testing; invitations for the closed beta test have been officially sent out to users now but there may still be a few more waves of invitations to be released still.

No duration time has been provided yet for this closed beta so it looks liked this test will be on-going for quite some time. Anyone who took part in the previous stress tests for Gwent will need to get a new code to access this closed beta however.

Xbox One and PC gamers should already be receiving invitations to the closed beta; anyone who registered through the official Gwent website has a chance to receive an invitation code. PlayStation 4 users aren't being excluded from the test but will be invited to join at a much later date.

Those who still haven't signed up for the Gwent closed beta can do so through the website for all three major platforms; details about the closed beta still aren't too clear yet but it seems as though CD Projekt Red will be updating the game as the closed beta continues.
