Xbox One Backwards Compatibility family has grown again

Microsoft has just announced that seven new games have joined the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility program; these are the first games to be added to the program this year and it's certainly a good start to the year for Xbox.

Owning the following games on the Xbox 360 will cause them to automatically show up in the Xbox One library:

  • Battlefield: Bad Company 2
  • Dragon Age: Origins
  • Ghostbusters
  • Scrap Metal
  • The Splatters
  • Strania

The final game added was Battlefield 3 which is the only game from this group that requires the disc to play.

Xbox boss Phil Spencer announced in December that January would be a great month for the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility program; there are already over 300 games in the program and more games should be added later this month.
